NYC: Epileptic Indian container; Panna II

We enjoyed our last night in New York with a dinner at Panna II, one of the most famous Indian restaurants on Lower east side: Known for it’s crazy decor and non pricey menu!It was completely nuts! Super tiny and crowded. Be prepared to wait for 30 minutes in the back of the “container”, squeezed into a corner while the staff runs back and forth an inch from you with hot plates! Crazy but worth it.While waiting you’ll get some kind of crispy Indian bred to chew on.The decor will make you happy: Hearts, x-mas lights and stuffed teddybears all over!A bit epileptic but so much fun.My amazing traveling buddies Sarah and Catherine! It’s by the way a “bring your own wine” place!MoiEverything goes super fast. You’ll have your food in no time and the staff is working so fast you hardly notice when the stuff goes off the table again. They had an article from Swedish Dagens Nyheter ( from 2003 on the wall. I translated it to one of the waiters. We were so stuffed with food we rolled back to our block and decided to go out for one last drink just at the corner of our street. Pretty Cath and pretty me.Beautiful Sarah.Great last night in NY.
