Quebec city – the jumping rabbit

We went to beautiful Quebec city with the motorcycle roughly 36 hours before hurricane Irene came to Montreal. We still got a good 24 hours in QC before having to go back to Montreal again. In the rain. On the motorcycle. We are so cool.We stayed at the Sheraton hotel on the other side of the river and took a ferry over to the old port. The sun going down in the water and with an old city skyline emerging. Magic.Burgundy vintage-looking velvet blazer and a Chanel lipstick makes the look.Spotted this awesome old Quebecios wall paining on the side of a house in downtownWalked around like lovebirds and browsed the small souvenir shopsOutside the restaurant we ate at: Le laupin sauté. Note the rabbit sign on the left. The decor was all about rabbits, which of course was their specialty.Maurizio ate a rabbit-dish, but soon changes his mind when he remembered that rabbits are quite small animals that has got a lot of bones. I ate something with tuna (above).Cheese plate. My favourite.C’est bon la vie!

Took the ferry home, sat on the deck, kissing, and watched the city lights become more and more distant from the other side of the river. Life’s good.
